Catalytic Deasphalting of Residues (CDR)

CDR (Catalytic Deasphalting of Residues) converts asphaltene-rich residues into lighter fractions with tailored catalysts and reactor concepts. The program combines kinetics, deactivation, and hydrodynamics to allow continuous operation with lower fouling and higher carbon use, using the group's analytical workflows for heavy feeds [194, 126, 123].
