Biography
Layan Alhajji is a visiting undergraduate researcher in the Multiscale Reaction Engineering (MuRE) group at KAUST under the supervision of Prof. Pedro Castaño through the KAUST Internship Program (KSIP). She is pursuing a B.S. in Chemical Engineering at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Her research interests include reaction engineering, heterogeneous catalysis and sustainable chemical processes. Prior to joining MuRE, she participated in research projects in materials science and sustainability, contributing to published scientific research. She is enthusiastic about expanding her expertise in reactor engineering and catalytic systems while contributing to innovative research.
