Biography

I graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in 2016 with a Batcheler of science in chemical engineering. Later in 2016, I joined SABIC Corporate Research and Development Center (CRD) at KAUST where I worked as a researcher in the advanced catalysis department. There, my work was focused in the synthesis and testing of heterogenous catalysis. In August of 2019, I joined KAUST as a master student in the chemical engineering program.

Research Interests

I am generally interested in catalysis and catalytic reaction engineering research. My experience has been centered more on the chemistry part of catalysis research prior to joining KAUST as a master student. That is, catalyst synthesis and testing.  I am interested now in studying catalytic reactions from an engineering point of view.  In particular, I have vested interests in understanding the intrinsic and observed kinetics of catalytic reactions. This includes catalytic reactor design and modeling, and scale-up analysis.
