Biography

After finishing my bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from KFUPM (2012), I joined Saudi International Petrochemical Company SIPCHEM. There I worked in Carbon Monoxide plant as a production engineer. In 2013, I joined Saudi Aramco’s Central Engineering in the Process & Control System Department (P&CSD) as a process engineer. In 2013, I was assigned to join Yanbu Aramco Sinopec Refinery YASREF.  I worked there for two years as an operation engineer during the pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up of the hydrocracker unit. In 2016, I was assigned to join Saudi Aramco Shell Refinery SASREF. I worked there as a process engineer in the hydrocracker unit. Since 2018, I joined KAUST as a master student and currently working in the Multiscale Reaction Engineering (MuRE) group led by Prof. Pedro Castano in the KAUST Catalysis Center (KCC).
