Biography

I am a MS/Ph.D. student studying chemical engineering at KAUST, working in the KAUST Catalysis Center with the Multiscale Reaction Engineering group under the supervision of Professor Pedro Castano.

Before joining KAUST in 2020, I worked as an undergraduate intern in the Process Intensification Team in the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Tianjin University where I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. My undergraduate thesis was focused on the design of a novel environmental-friendly catalyst for acetylene hydrochlorination reaction.

Here at KAUST, my research focuses on electrocatalyst synthesis and design and optimazation of Bio- and Electro-reactors for hydrogen production, energy generation, and CO2  conversion to useful fuels and chemicals.

Research Interests

Synthesizing electrocatalysts and designing and optimizing Bio- and Electro-reactors for enhanced hydrogen production, CO2 conversion, and energy generation.
