Biography

Changtai Li is an MS/PhD student in the Chemical Engineering Program, joining in 2025, working in the KAUST Catalysis Platform under the supervision of Professor Pedro Castano.
Before joining KAUST, He completed his undergraduate degree in chemical engineering at Tianjin University, where he completed some research internships in microfluidics and macromolecular chemistry. After completing his undergraduate studies, he worked in macromolecular reaction engineering before deciding to pursue his graduate studies. At KAUST, his research focuses on electrocatalysis, mainly the transport phenomena related to it, as well as the design of electro-reactors.

 

Research Interests

Understanding transport phenomena in electrochemical systems, as well as catalyst testing and reactor design.
